Destination Wedding Venues That Live In My Head Rent Free…

As a Destination Wedding Planner, I am often tasked with exploring new destinations and venues to present to my couples to consider. It’s one of my favourite things to do, however the can of worms it opens up leaves me down many rabbit holes as it only shows just HOW many incredible venues exist around the world!

Here are a few of my favourite venues that live in my head rent free- some I’ve worked in and others I dream of!

Euridge Manor, Bath, UK

A stunning Cotswolds venue complete with blue waters, rolling green hills, crumbling archways and spaces to design to your hearts content. Euridge was always on my planner bucket list and despite A&G’s wedding being a rainy day in August, it didn’t take away from the beauty one little bit. Ceremonies tend to take place overlooking the iconic Boathouse or in front of their signature Castle Arch, before guests enjoy drinks in the (usually sunny) gardens, followed by dinner in the Ballroom.

Capacity: up to 150 guests for ceremony and dining

Onsite accommodation: sleeps up to 36 guests

Pricing: on request, but expect to allocate upwards of £20,000 for hire.

Euridge Manor

Quinta Do Muro, Portugal

La Quinta Do Muro

Everything about the architecture of this venue just has me mentally designing the most beautifully minimalist celebration that makes the most of the landscape. Designed by French architect, Pierre-Louis Faloci between 1983 and 1988, this property in the Algarve is made up of three buildings (Corpo A, Corpo B and Corpo C), olive groves, English garden, vegetable garden and a lavender field with unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside.

I can see the most chilled, relaxed morning waking up here before wedding prep begins, stunning couple portraits amongst the arches and walled gardens, a ceremony by the sea, cocktail reception by the pool, followed by dinner and dancing in the gardens surrounded by the smells of lavender.

Capacity: from 50 to 350 guests spread out across the whole space

Onsite accommodation: sleeps up to 18 guests (9 bedrooms)

Pricing: on request, but expect to allocate from 13,000€ (2 day rental + 1 night accommodation, max 50 guests) hire.

Neuendorf House, Mallorca

Neuendorf House

This place… the pink walls, the simple, clean lines to design with, the perfect proportions and angles, the fact that it’s only in Majorca- so many things to love about it!! This is one I see on my instagram feed constantly with these beautiful long tables set up within the bounds of the walls with only blue skies above. Their instagram focuses purely on the house, location, retreats and artists residence, with all weddings shared directly on planner pages and any information around pricing and capacity requested directly from Caroline Neuendorf.

Capacity: on request

Onsite accommodation: on request

Pricing: on request, expect to spend upwards of 60,000€ for hire alone.
